Martha Driver.

Martha Driver is Distinguished Professor of English and Women’s and Gender Studies at Pace University in New York City. A co-founder of the Early Book Society for the study of manuscripts and printing history, she writes about illustration from manuscript to print, book production, and the early history of publishing. She has published some 60 articles in these areas; edited twenty journals over seventeen years; written books about pictures (from woodcuts to film); and contributed to and edited Preaching the Word in Manuscript and Print in Late Medieval England: Essays in Honour of Susan Powell with Veronica O’Mara (Brepols, 2013).
